Sorrento, Italy ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡นย

Sorrento was not what I expected! I didn’t get to see the whole of it as it was spread out and I only visited a couple of hours at a time.

We ventured down to the port thinking it would be the kind of port that has restaurants and shops etc. But it is quite literally a working port.

The beauty of Sorrento is hidden around little Italian streets that have the cutest shops, restaurants and bars etc. You could walk for hours discovering another place you want to walk into and check out.

The main square of Sorrento has a wonderful atmosphere. We had a pizza date night at a lovely restaurant.

Although, it wasn’t until the next day we realised that the “romantic table” they had put us on was on a tiny balcony with nothing underneath. Very glad I didn’t know this at the time!

I’m glad that I didn’t stay in Sorrento. But, I’m really glad I was so close and visited a few times. I would definitely go back for an evening stroll and dinner over and over again.
