We got the ferry over to Capri for the day and we were so happy that we did! What a beautiful place.
If you’re going, wear trainers! To get to the main centre of Capri you have to go up steps, steps and more steps! It takes about 20mins. Me and Sam are reasonably active (kind of) and we didn’t stop. But there were people sprawled out half way up because they were exhausted. I was dripping with sweat when I got to the top and the first thing I did was sit down and down a coke.
But when the view looks like this from the top, it’s worth every step surely?
In the main centre it’s very expensive. We paid €6 for a can of coke. But, we went for lunch a bit further out in a restaurant with a beautiful view and the prices were very reasonable.
The shops are so picture perfect.
We didn’t end up buying anything as we didn’t fall in love with anything. Everything was very quirky and there wasn’t a large range of stock. But it was still amazing to look round.
I would definitely recommend heading over and there’s much more to see as you can also visit the grottos. We had a really enjoyable day.
