And again, a fabulous place to visit.
You just can’t stop staring at the buildings. Food and drink in the square is a must. Just to sit and take in the beauty around you. We were very lucky to be there on a sunny day so the buildings looked stunning.
Warsaw, as a big city, is very commercialised in places, but, the Old Town has a lot to offer.
Near the river are some modern bars that are really cool to sit and have a drink.
And there is a park near by where you can sit and watch the water fountains whilst enjoying a nice cold Polish beer.
Luckily, a couple of my friends had recently also been to Warsaw and gave me some advice on where to go. And, you have to visit the Warsaw University Library to see the Secret Garden. It’s so cool! It’s literally a garden, on the roof of the university. Google the location – definitely worth a visit.
Also, make sure you go to the giant building in the centre of the new modernised square. The Palace of Culture and Science. You can go up! And see a view of the whole city. And, if you’re lucky like us, watch the sunset.
Another country/city ticked off my list and I would definitely recommended checking out Poland for a few days if you can.
